Most Minnesota school districts are members of a Telecommunications Access Region. These regions are all part of an organization called the Minnesota Education Telecommunications Networks (METN). The Telecommunications Access Networks are organized to cooperatively purchase Internet connectivity and deliver educational content to their schools through videoconferencing. To find out more about what is going on in your region or to contact your regional director, visit the METN website.
Join the MN Internet2 User's Group (MUG)
This group of Internet2 and Videoconferencing practitioners and educators
works
together to give demos, share resources and plan collaborative events
around the state of Minnesota and throughout the country and abroad.
Our primary tool of collaboration is video conferencing while exploring
the future possibilities of Internet2.
MUG Meeting Dates 2013-2014
The meetings are usually the second Thursday of the Month from 7:30-8:30 am
unless there is a need to change as determined by the group.
