H.323 videoconferencing is a technology that can connect classrooms across town, the state, the nation and the world at a high quality connection speed and appearance.
Most Minnesota school districts are members of a Telecommunications Access Region. These regions are all part of an organization called the Minnesota Education Telecommunications Networks (METN). The Telecommunications Access Networks are organized to cooperatively purchase Internet connectivity and deliver educational content to their schools through videoconferencing. To find out more about what is going on in your region or to contact your regional director, visit the METN website.
