To prepare for statewide online testing this spring (Science MCA-II and MTELL), the division of Research & Assessment at MDE has been working with an advisory Technical Work Group to develop a Site Readiness Certification workbook. The goal is for all districts to certify that they have the capacity to conduct online testing for the Science MCA-II and MTELL (if approved by the USED) by the end of February, 2008. The process involves completing a Readiness Checklist, a Scheduling Calculator, and a Network Assessment that will assess various aspects of a district’s capacity to administer online tests to students.
